Canal+ has greenlit Season 2 of Mush-Mush and the Mushables! The fantastic news was officially announced during CANAL+ group’s press conference at Annecy International Animation film Festival. The new season will feature 50 episodes including 2 specials, and will air on Canal+ Family, Piwi+ and MyCanal in France.
Other partners also confirmed their commitment to this new season, including VRT-Ketnet (Dutch-speaking Belgium), RTBF (French- speaking Belgium) and RTS (Switzerland).
Mush-Mush will screen at ANIMAFEST, the World Festival of Animated Film in Zagreb, Croatia. The event will take place from June 7 – 12 with an out-of-competition screening of the episode “The Guardian of The Forest”, written by Joeri Christiaen & An De Guyter and directed by Joeri Christiaen.

Mush-Mush is nominated for the prestigious ROCKIE AWARDS, organized by BANFF World Media Festival! The event’s virtual edition will take place from June 14 – July 16. Mush-Mush and the Mushables is selected for the 25th Riga International ShortFilm Festival 2ANNAS, in the Children’s Short Competition. The event will take place online 9-15 April, from Riga, Latvia and will feature the episode “Morel In The Dark”, written by Ross Hastings and directed by Joeri Christiaen here.

MUSH-MUSH AND THE MUSHABLES is selected for the Providence Children’s Film Festival in the US, the event that gathers films to inspire the way you think about the world.
This Festival will be entirely held online from the 12th until the 21st of February 2021. The episode « Save The Fun Tree », was written by Tigran Rosine and directed by Joeri Christiaen.
We are thrilled for Mush-Mush and the Mushables to be selected for Kaboom Animation Festival in the Netherlands. This event, which is the love child of KLIK and HAFF, will take place online and on-site from the 27th of March till the 4th of April.

2021 started on a fun note, as Mush-Mush and the Mushables was awarded « Best Series » at Tbilisi International Animation Festival in Georgia! TIAF, an event dedicated to creating awareness of animation, took place online with a screening of « Save The Fun Tree », written by Tigran Rosine and directed by Joeri Christiaen.
