“Vive le vent d’hiver!”, the theatrical program of short films distributed by Les Films du Préau, which includes LUCE AND THE ROCK, has reached 100,000 admissions in cinemas in France!

LUCE AND THE ROCK by Britt Raes has just reached the 200 festival selections mark! Big thanks to all the programmers who are showcasing the film around the world. The latest selections include Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur (Switzerland), Skepto International Film Festival (Italy), Legnago Film Festival (Italy), Kino Athens (Greece), Luxcity Film Festival (Luxembourg), Tampere Film Festival (Finland), Plein(s) Ecran(s) (Canada) and the Children Film Festival of Seattle (US).
LUCE AND THE ROCK was chosen as the Best European Short Film for Children and Young Audiences at the ECFA Awards, during the 73rd edition of the Berlinale! A big thank you to the ECFA members and to our coproducer Tünde Vollenbroek for representing the film’s team for this occasion.
Only a few months after the end of its production, and still at the very beginning of its festival journey, Luce and the Rock has already won 11 awards and been selected for 23 festivals.
The film won the Audience Award at the Go Short International Short Film Festival in the Netherlands, the Benshi Award for a Young Audience Film and the Best Music Award at the Festival National du Film d’animation in France, the Audience Award at Flatpack in UK, the ECFA Award at Mo&Friese in Germany and a special mention at Cinema in Sneakers in Poland. The festival selections highlights also include the Krakow Film Festival in Poland, the Sydney Film Festival in Australia and the Anibar Film Festival in Kosovo.
